I don't know about you but I LOVE ice cream. It has been something that has been very difficult to give up. So I started to look up recipes to make ice cream. So I tried something I have never tried I found a recipe and made adjustments because I realized through trial and error what is the best consistency while not compromising what I love about ice cream. Okay enough talking let's get to it!
- 2 Sliced Banana (frozen)
- Oat Milk
- 1 1/2 Carob Powder (optional)
- 2 Scoops of Eniva Vanilla protein shake
- 1 TBSP unsweet cocoa powder
- Optional, 1 Packet Stevia for added sweetness
Using small food processor or high speed blender, add frozen chopped bananas with about half of the milk. Whirl until you have the consistency of soft serve ice-cream. Add the rest of the milk if needed to blend the bananas completely.
Add in the protein powder, cocoa and carob powder. Whirl again until all is combined. Add sweetener if using. Whirl once more.
Scoop into dessert dishes and sprinkle with colored sprinkles or pour into container and freeze for 30 minutes for a more firmer nice cream texture.
